Well the obvious answer is that all spring & electric guns are Jaau powered by compressed air. In both, a spring pushes a piston which Registered User compresses the air to propel the BB. These older guns are extremely collectable nowadays
but unpopular in skirmishes because of the need for an external tank. That
said, those old guns (the likes of JAC & Asahi) give great performance &
absolutely insane rates of fire. The extreme simplicity of the mechanisms
makes maintenance a dream & mechanical failure unlikely.
As for a pump airsoft gun - why? The spring & piston system is simpler,
faster to cock & delivers all the necessary power.

Because what we have now gets the job done just fine, and there domino is no need for an airsoft gun to ever work like that. All airsoft guns, Registered User save for those that run on propane, freon22, etc (which I am assuming you Joined: Tuesday, 18th of May 2010, 16:11:22 don't mean by ''air'') pull air back into a cylinder, and then push it Posts: 1161 forward to propel the BB, be it through pulling back on a bolt to compress Viewed 3737 times the cylinder assembly, or pulling the trigger, activating a set of gears to

Theyre all powered by compressed air, just done differently. If cendol you mean powered by actual compressed air directly, then they arent powered Registered User like that because you would need an air compressor. Joined: Wednesday, 12th of May 2010, 22:57:40 Posts: 1084 Viewed 15222 times
