How come there are no Airsoft Guns actually powered by air

There is electric, gas, CO2, and spring but no compressed air.

Well the obvious answer is that all spring & electric guns are
Jaau
powered by compressed air. In both, a spring pushes a piston which

Before AEG is were invented, airsoft guns used to powered by external

compressed air tanks. These older guns are extremely collectable nowadays
but unpopular in skirmishes because of the need for an external tank. That
said, those old guns (the likes of JAC & Asahi) give great performance &
absolutely insane rates of fire. The extreme simplicity of the mechanisms
makes maintenance a dream & mechanical failure unlikely.

As for a pump airsoft gun - why? The spring & piston system is simpler,
faster to cock & delivers all the necessary power.

Because what we have now gets the job done just fine, and there
domino
is no need for an airsoft gun to ever work like that. All airsoft guns,

Theyre all powered by compressed air, just done differently. If
cendol
you mean powered by actual compressed air directly, then they arent powered

like that because you would need an air compressor.
